Madigan is a band from the Clear Lake, Texas area that was formed in 1996 by Dave and Melissa Madigan during their marriage. The band continues into 2012 with founding members Dave Madigan on lead guitar, his former wife Melissa Wolfe with lead vocals, Todd Fulks on drums, and the two newest members, Jeremy Walton on bass guitar and Mike McCulloch returns to the band on keyboards. Madigan shows are enhanced with state of the art sound by Dale Lance and amazing stage lighting by Hector Reyes.

Part of Madigan’s appeal is their presentation of music that they feel is a bit more musically challenging than the standard dance fare. A live show typically includes tunes such as Journey, Satriani, Rush, Van Halen etc., but even though Madigan likes performing the challenging stuff, they tend to keep the dance floor packed with dance-able tunes from Blondie to Nickelback! Come out and experience the “live concert feel” that Madigan is all about!

Helmets for Heroes

Honor the hero in your life or community by participating in the Helmets for Heroes fundraiser benefiting the Texas LODD Task Force. Decorate a plastic fire helmet (your own or one provided by us for an additional fee) and for a $15 entry fee you helmet will be entered to win $150 VISA gift card. Entry fee is due by June 10, 2012. Helmets need to be turned in by noon June 23, 2012. Judging will take place at the Texas Fallen Heroes Memorial Ride & Cook-Off on June 23, 2012. Need not be present to win.

Completed helmets may be mailed to address provided below or can be brought to the Galveston County Fairgrounds by noon on June 23, 2012. Helmets will be displayed for judging until 4pm. Winner will be chosen by a vote system collected by patrons and visitors of the Texas Fallen Heroes Memorial Ride & Cook-Off. Winner will be announced at the awards ceremony for the barbecue cook-off at approximately 6:00pm. The Texas LODD Task Force will retain ownership of the winning helmet for 1 year for marketing and PR purposes. After 1 year, the winning helmet will be returned.

Vendor spaces for the 3rd Annual Texas Fallen Heroes Memorial Ride & Cook-Off are now open for registration.  This year we are offering indoor booth spaces inside the Ed Pickett Hall as well as outdoor spots located in and around the fairgrounds.

We are looking for businesses that want to showcase their goods and services to our patrons.  Booth spaces are limited, so sign up soon!
